We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all clients, processing orders, providing support on products and services and utilizing creative order lead generation techniques to generate new business, increase sales and maintain customer satisfaction. This position will be mostly working with lumber yards or building supply companies on orders and specialty orders. A background in building materials a plus! There is no cold calling already a great wholesale customer base.

This role will be responsible for processing orders, providing support on products and services and excellent customer service.

This is an on-site position. No cold calling. Hours Monday thru Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (no weekends).

Job Responsibilities: 

• Handle incoming calls, process orders and provide quotes in a timely and accurate manner
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries
• Provide support and maintain up to date knowledge on products and services
• Generate new business through cross-selling, up-selling, sales add-on’s and various promotional give campaigns
• Provide support to and partner with Outside Sales Team and other internal departments as required to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

Job Qualifications: 

•  Hands-on experience within customer service or call center environment
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a pleasant and professional phone demeanor
• Must possess a high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Must be a team player, self-motivated and be able to collaborate effectively with other departments
• Must have good math skills to calculate quotes
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related degree or a minimum of two years of progressive customer service.
• **Prior experience within the building materials is a plus, but is not required. We will train the right candidate
• Logistics and supply chain background a plus
• Bi-lingual a plus
